World Class Competition Level Smoked Pork Chops


Thick Loin Chops are great to be cooked on the smoker and they can be done up pretty quickly without taking long hours. The recipe mentioned below is that of a really flavorful thick loin chops. And the secret ingredient here is the brine. Added to the brine if you are using a good coat of seasoning on the outside, you cannot stop yourself from making delicious chops without even using any sauce.

Here are the  easy steps that you need to follow:

1. 1” thick or about the width of two fingers thick chops

2. Place each one in the bag and pour the brine over the top

3. Place the container in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

4. About 30 minutes before the chops come out of the brine go ahead and start the smoker

5. The cooking temperature needs to be right at 250 degrees with light smoke

6.  Add BBQ Rub for base coat, just get a good covering on all sides

7. On top of that  sprinkle on a little Montreal Steak Seasoning.

8. Place the chops on the smoker and cook at 250, these chops won’t take long.

9. You won’t even miss the sauce on this one!
